Going public means making the thing or things created in ECGs known and available to the wider sociaty. There are many different ways of doing this and each group will find the method most suited to their needs. For some groups face-to-face methods could work best, for others the internet might be more useful, yet some may opt for print media, any media that suits the message.
Examples of face to face methods: public exhibition; a seminar or workshop; a conference (or a panel or a session in a conference).
In Pickering the ECG decided to arrange a public exhibition to present their findings to the local community and other interested parties.
Examples of internet methods: web site; facebook page; blog, twitter feed.
Obviously methods do not exclude each other, but gains may be made by combining them, e.g. a conference and a twitter feed.
